The “Freshest Kids” Documentary

I’ve been wanting to put this one together for a long time. It was compiled of clips from the “Freshest Kids” Documentary (Shout out to QD3 for one of the illest hip hip docs to date BUY IT!…) also included is footage from the movies Wild Style, Beat Street, and several early 80s music videos all backed up by the classic hard hittin’ joint from ’84 “Davy DMX – One for the Treble”. Classic B-Boy and Poppin’ & Lockin’ are both represented here . Peace to ALL the Originals!

The Mean Machine

Disco Dream (1981) by The Mean Machine was musically an interpolation of the Sly & Robbie produced Pull Up To My Bumper by Grace Jones. Most importantly Disco Dream is the first bilingual rap record. Mr. Schick’s Spanish verses inspired generations of Spanish speaking Mc’s after him.
